Rest Stop at Lake MacBride.

Lake MacBride has numerous boat ramps. But this is my kind of boat ramp. As you might guess from the surrounding shore, little patches of sand like this are hard to find on MacBride. In fact this little patch is one of only two that I have found. Big deal? Try landing in a hurry when nature calls and all you can find is a vertical, rocky shore line. This is a kayak, not a john boat. There is only one way to extracate yourself, and you better have a hold on firm, level ground as you lift your butt out of the cockpit. The only alternative is a wet exit.
