Getting There

View through the passenger side window of my little Grand-Am. Let's see, the sun rises in the east so I must be going south. Yep, this is about 5:45am just north of Donahue heading for the Dixon turn-off. The wide-angle shadow from the early morning sun actually makes the car look longer than the kayak. In fact, the kayak is three feet longer than the car.

If you were wondering, this isn't nearly as unstable of a load as it might appear. Only when I get close behind an 18-wheeler on the interstate do things start feeling shakey.
